Illinois, Texas Tech surge into top 10 of latest men's basketball Power 37

The best slam dunk reactions in recent March Madness history

After a week of upsets and marquee matchups, Illinois and Texas Tech enter the top 10 as the Power 37 sees significant movement. 

Here are the latest rankings: 

1. Arizona (1): The Wildcats continue to roll in the Big 12.
2. UConn (3): The Huskies aren’t playing their best, but they keep finding ways to win in the Big East.

3. Purdue (4): The Boilermakers are in the mix for a No. 1 seed behind Braden Smith’s stellar play. 
4. Duke (7): The Blue Devils got the sweep in the Bay Area behind Cameron Boozer’s player of the week numbers. 
5. Nebraska (9): Time to give the Huskers the top five ranking they have earned. 
6. Michigan (5): The Wolverines found ways to beat back the Northwest schools and come out with two more road wins. 
7. Gonzaga (6): The Zags are beat up in the post but are still winning in the WCC.
8. Houston (8): The Cougars have re-emerged as the team to challenge Arizona for the top Big 12 spot. 
9. Illinois (13): The Illini are playing well at the right time and finding a variety of offensive options. 
10. Texas Tech (14): The Red Raiders beat back BYU and are poised to make a run to a top three Big 12 finish. 
11. Michigan State (12): The Spartans got the first win on the Northwest swing in impressive fashion. 
12. Iowa State (2): The Cyclones took a major drop after the loss to Cincinnati came after the loss at Kansas.

13. BYU (10): The Cougars couldn’t handle the 1-2 punch of JT Toppin and Christian Anderson in Lubbock.
14. Florida (16): The Gators are rolling with a 4-1 SEC record after sweeping a road trip. 
15. Vanderbilt (11): The Commodores came back to earth with a pair of SEC losses. 
16. Clemson (20): The Tigers are undefeated in the ACC and knocked off Miami. 
17. Virginia (18): Ryan Odom’s crew is going to be a threat to finish in the top two in the ACC.
18. Miami (15): No shame in the first ACC loss coming at Clemson. 
19. Wisconsin (24): The Badgers have found their groove again after winning at Michigan. They followed that up with a buzzer win at Minnesota and taking down Rutgers.
20. St. John’s (31): The Red Storm are back after taking down Creighton and Villanova on the road. 
21. Kansas (NR): The Jayhawks are back in their rightful place of the polls after beating Iowa State and Baylor.
22. Kentucky (NR): The Wildcats are back in the good graces of the polls with three-straight wins, including winning at LSU and at Tennessee. 
23. San Diego State (32): The Aztecs held off New Mexico and the lone unbeaten in the Mountain West. 
24. Alabama (27): The Tide have won two in a row and are back in the SEC mix. 
25. Georgia (19): The Bulldogs lost a buzzer-beater to Ole Miss, but are still just a game out of first.

26. Texas A&M (25): The Aggies lost at Tennessee but were able to beat rival Texas. 
27. Miami (OH) (34): The RedHawks continue to find a way to win and are one of the three remaining unbeaten teams. 
28. Villanova (21): The Wildcats had a setback losing at home to St. John’s. 
29. Missouri (29): The Tigers are in a group in the SEC where everyone is taking turns beating each other. See below. 
30-33. Auburn (26), Arkansas (28), Ole Miss (NR), Tennessee (NR): See above.
34. Utah State (17): The Aggies suffered their first loss in the MWC to Grand Canyon. 
35. West Virginia (30): The Mountaineers got a bounce back win over Colorado after a tough loss at Houston.
36. Saint Louis (35): The Billikens continue to be the team to beat in the A-10 with (see below).
37. George Mason (36): See above. 

On the verge: Murray State, Ohio State, UCF, New Mexico. 

Dropped out: North Carolina (22), Seton Hall (23), Saint Mary’s (33), Stanford (37).
