Mary Washington captured its first DIII men's basketball championship, defeating Emory 75-73 on April 5. 

The 2026 NCAA DIII men's basketball championship began with a selection show on Monday, March 2 on krikya168vip.com. The 64-team field consisted of 43 automatic qualifiers and 21 at-large bids. The national championship was held at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
